Who We Are

Nourishing Bethesda’s mission is to fight food insecurity in our area by providing nutritious food and community support to our neighbors in need, as well as offering and linking our clients to wraparound resources that will enable them to build healthier and more stable lives.

What We Do

Come be part of our wonderful community of volunteers who are making a real difference in the lives of our neighbors in need. We provide a warm and welcoming environment for volunteers and clients alike. Your impact is immediate and our clients are so grateful for the helping hand. We operate out of the BCC Rescue Squad, 5020 Battery Lane, Bethesda.

All volunteer opportunities beginning in August and September will be coordinated using Volgistics, which will be easily accessible on our website. To gain access to the new system, every volunteer will need to take just a minute to complete both a new volunteer waiver and a Volgistics application form. Once your waiver is submitted, our team will manually update your status from “applicant” to “active.” Then you will be able to sign up for available shifts.

Please complete the application form at the link below: Volgistics Application Form 2026. The application form has the new volunteer waiver linked but I have pasted it below for your convenience: Nourishing Bethesda Volunteer Waiver 2026.

Your volunteer portal Vicnet: Vicnet Volgistics Login is where you will access and manage your volunteer opportunities. The email and password you use for the application form will become your Vicnet login credentials.
