Who We Are
The Civic Circle is a Silver Spring, Maryland-based nonprofit that brings civics alive for children using music and the arts. We offer students after-school enrichment programs, assembly shows and workshops to teach seven civic skills that we call “steps to democracy” empowering them to exercise civic clout in their schools, communities, nation and world.
