Who We Are

Our organization was formed as a 501 (c)(3) in 2019. We are unique in that we work with the very young to older adults, and entire families, adjusting our instruction based on their needs and skill level. 1. To provide instruction, education, and preservation of Vietnamese martial arts. 2. To provide instructions in the sport of Vovinam to people of all ethnic, age, and, groups 3. To provide facilities, equipment, and instructors for participants to engage in the promotion and participation of the martial arts of Vovinam; 4. To provide opportunities for participants to engage in recreational, international and national competition in Vovinam; 5. To sponsor, host and/or participate in tournaments, events, and activities that promote the sport of Vovinam 6. To strengthen the minds, bodies, and hearts of young people through Vovinam martial arts training, because hard physical exercise leads to increased spiritual strength and patience, which in turn leads to the ability to make better life decisions. 7. To deepen relationships between people of diverse backgrounds through hard training, an inherent ‘equalizer’ between people. 8. To strengthen American communities by martial arts way of life thus increasing individuals who might then serve as role models for other members of the community. 9. To create individuals who are ‘community-minded’ and open-minded people who VALUE works for the sake of society rather than merely for personal economic and social advancement. 10. To preserve, develop, and propagate Vovinam Martial Arts throughout North America as an art form founded on principles of community and individual improvement.

What We Do

Volunteer students will assist instructors in organizing, lining up the kids, maintaining order, and ensuring focus. They may also provide support with fundamental techniques for the children. As students accumulate experience, there is the potential for them to take on the responsibility of leading a small group of 2-4 kids. This engagement offers students the opportunity to cultivate essential skills such as leadership, organization, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.
