Who We Are

At Susan G. Komen, we strive to live in a world without breast cancer. Our mission is to save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer. We can help do this by raising money and awareness through our More Than Pink Walk in Washington D.C. Thanks to events like this, we have invested over $2 billion dollars to fulfill our promise, playing a critical role in virtually every major advancement in breast cancer. But, there is still work to be done, and we need your help. Your volunteerism, donations and fundraising will help us get to the finish line.

What We Do

The Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk is the world's largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer. The series of 5K runs and fitness walks raises significant funds and awareness for the breast cancer movement, celebrates breast cancer survivorship and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease. The Komen Walk/Race Series welcomes people of all ages and fitness levels, from walkers to elite runners.
