We offer a variety of activities. Our programs are: Saturday Night Alive! Special needs individuals, families, caregivers, and friends enjoy monthly themed Saturday Night Alive events involving gym time, interactive games, crafts, music, and adaptive activities. The evening is topped off with pizza and an optional Bible lesson. All are welcome! Social Events The Haven Universe community meets together for monthly social events to enjoy activities at various locations such as a bowling alley, baseball game, theme park, or picnic area to engage in fellowship with other special needs families and friends. These social events are a great opportunity to have fun while getting to know others in our HU community! Missions to Honduras Twice each year (January and June) Haven Universe volunteers reach out in love to help people in need in Honduras, Central America. We have been doing this for seven years since Haven Universe's inception. We share God’s love through encouragement and prayer with the Honduran people, providing medical and psychiatric care, and helping with practical needs including food, household items and construction projects. Those served include people of all ages, faith backgrounds, and many types of disabilities. We work with orphans, widows, and families in conjunction with other American and Honduran non-profit organizations.
