Needs From: MC Serves!

ATTENTION - This position is only available when MCPS schools are in session and operate under normal situation .

Work with The French Heritage Association and become a volunteer during our programs and events

Our volunteers welcome participants, are people-oriented and support staff as needed during programs and events.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AMONG OTHERS:

Learn about our program offerings and events. Greet participants. Answer participant inquiries or direct them to appropriate staff. Take messages for staff. Answer telephone calls. Occasionally help with office administrative work, computer work, and programs preparation. Check people in for programs. Support staff as needed during programs and events.

All assignments provide training, the opportunity to work with children, and to practice French language skills.

Looking for responsible teens who are able to make a minimum commitment of at least 3 hours on Saturdays during several weeks. 

Minimum age 16.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian  and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
