Earn up to 5 SSL hours to serve as a volunteer for Children’s Hospital’s upcoming conference in recognition of April 2026 National Youth Sports Safety Month. The Children’s Hospital Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Center has partnered with the Student Athletes for Educational Opportunities (SAFEO), Inc. to host the “Sports Safety Makes Winning Possible” conference dedicated to raising awareness, education, prevention, recovery, training and rehabilitation, associated with student athletes and sports-related injuries. The event will consist of a powerful panel of experts, who will engage an audience of DMV area student athletes, coaches, parents and other stakeholders in a discussion about sports safety. To participate, please select one of the following volunteer opportunities listed below. Logistics: Help with event set up and breakdown Marketing assistant: Assist event Refreshments: Assist with food and beverage distribution Exhibitor assistant: Assist participating sponsors with their exhibit SAFEO booth: Pass out materials, membership signage and sale merch Once you've selected your volunteer opportunity. We also need consulting with social media monetization and creating sales opportunities, promoting campaigns, fundraisers, events and merch sales. All must sign an agreement with the understanding that we the (client) will have to divulge personal information and business records. The agreement will contain a confidentiality clause, proprietary information clause, and a non-compete clause to help protect the organization's information and our business.
