Volunteer: Website Update

Help with updating website with photos of events happening during the year (For example; Autism Awareness event that took place in April, 2025 International Festival that took place in April as well, Bowling Youth even that will take place in July, Poem recital etc).

Criteria for Successful Completion of SSL Project: Website & Event Updates

1- Event should be posted on the website within one week of occurrence.

2- Hours Earned: 1.5 SSL hours per event update.

3- Content: Include photos/videos and a brief event description (1 paragraph).

4- Newsletter: Each event should be added to the monthly newsletter with a summary of 2-4 sentences.

5- Quality: Content must be clear, error-free, with consistent formatting.

6- Verification: Submit SSL form with supervisor approval and link/screenshot of the post.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety and privacy at any time the student is interacting with the nonprofit and its clients. The nonprofit organization will determine the number of SSL hours awarded based on the evidence submitted. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns. This service activity is designed to be completed within the safety of the student’s home.
