We’ll meet at the corner of Prathertown and Wightman Road. Impact Prathertown is a neighborhood in Gaithersburg originally founded in 1883 by emancipated people. It has a long and deep rooted history that is evident today in Prathertown's many artifacts and historical homes. By volunteering, you will be contributing to the health of Prathertown’s environment and reducing litter. By collecting and removing litter from Prathertown, the animals benefit from a cleaner, safer habitat that helps protect them from pollution, injury, and contaminated food sources. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own food and water. Breaks will be included, and SSL forms will be provided. Feel free to bring canned goods to donate to our food drive.
