Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is hosting an adoption event at the Calverton PetSmart in Silver Spring (12020 Cherry Hill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904) on Sunday, June 25th from 11:15 - 3:30. Come hang out with our animals and help them find their forever homes. Being a volunteer at our events is a very rewarding and simple job. Holding, walking, and playing with dogs are just some of the aspects we could use help with. If handling a dog, we will give you their bio with the dogs information on it. once you learn about the dog you're off to meet people and potential adopters who are interested in learning more about the dog. None of what we do would be possible with help from amazing volunteers like you so we greatly appreciate your help!
Keep in mind that anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent present at all times. If given a dog to handle, the parent must be the one physically holding the dog's leash.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
