Volunteers needed for final de-installation of the current
public yarn bomb display that is still on local light poles around the Wheaton
Urban District where we host our festival every year.
October 19, 1-3 pm at Wheaton Veterans Park (corner of Fern
Street and Reedie Drive) .
Look for the Yarn Bomb sign.
All supplies for the activity are provided.
This is an outdoor event so dress comfortably for the
weather with closed-toed shoes.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
