Description

Volunteers needed for final de-installation of the current public yarn bomb display that is still on local light poles around the Wheaton Urban District where we host our festival every year.

October 26, 1-3 pm at the Marian Fryer Town Plaza. (next to Wheaton Metro Station) 

2424 Reedie Dr, Wheaton, MD 20902

Look for the Yarn Bomb sign.

All supplies for the activity are provided. 


This is an outdoor event so dress comfortably for the weather with closed-toed sneakers or tennis shoes. 


Rain Date: November 2, 1-3 pm.


Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian  and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
