recruiting community volunteers for GreenFest in the City scheduled for Sunday, April 23,. Rain or Shine.
On Sunday, April 23, 2023, the Montgomery County GreenFest in the City is taking place from 12pm to 5pm at the Marian Fryer Town Plaza at 2425 Reedie Dr., Wheaton, MD 20902 with music, activities, demonstrations, and exhibitors all focused on building community and improving our environment.
Volunteers are key in helping make this event a success!
Volunteers will help with Set Up, activities, greeter, traffic control, breakdown and other activities as needed. Each volunteer’s responsibilities will be determined on the day of the event.
Shifts available are:
- 8am to 11:30am (set up)
- 11am to 2:30pm (during the event)
- 2:30pm to 6pm (During event and cleanup)
Anyone under 13 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult. SSL hours are provided
