Today we will prep bikes for our partner in El Salvador, CESTA. Our container will be arriving on Wednesday so we need to make sure we have all the bikes ready to be shipped to El Salvador. Volunteers will be removing pedals and compacting bikes for easier transport.
No experience or prior bike knowledge required. Volunteers will be using bike tools and doing light 'mechanical' work on the bikes. Training will be provided before starting.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
