Volunteer Coordinator
A Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing an organization’s volunteer program, ensuring that volunteers are effectively recruited, trained, and engaged. Their key responsibilities typically include:


  • Manage the MCVC account
  • Ensure volunteer opportunities are posted and approved
  • Identify volunteer needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Promote volunteer opportunities through various channels (social media, community outreach, etc.).
  • Develop schedules and ensure adequate volunteer coverage for events/programs.
  • Maintain clear communication with volunteers through emails, meetings, or newsletters.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all volunteer-related inquiries.
  • Track volunteer hours, participation, and impact.
  • Maintain volunteer records and databases.
  • Provide reports and feedback to leadership on volunteer contributions.


Time commitment - approximately 6 to 12 hours per week.
