Come and help us plant shrubs, herbs and herbaceous perennials, and mulch the new food forest site at the college as we prepare to enter the dormant season.
When: November 3rd, 10am-2pm (in case of very poor weather we will postpone)
Where: Montgomery College Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus, 7719 Chicago Ave, Takoma Park, MD 20912
Please do bring your own water, gloves and any planting tools you might have if you can.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
