Join us for a meaningful afternoon of compassion and community. Volunteers will come together to write heartfelt notes of love, hope, and encouragement for families who have experienced the devastating loss of a child before their first birthday.
Your words can offer comfort, connection, and a reminder that these families are not alone. No writing experience is needed— just an open heart and a willingness to share kindness.
We invite you to volunteer in person on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at the Germantown Library in Maryland. Whether you stay for the full time or just a portion, your presence and participation will make a difference. We will gather 2pm-5pm. Join us!
High school juniors and seniors are also welcome to join and may earn SSL hours for their participation.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
