Help Community of Hope get diapers to families in our Housing and Maternal and Child Health Programs!
We need drivers to pick up our diaper donations from the DC Diaper Bank in Silver Spring, MD, and deliver them to our Conway Health and Resource Center in Ward 8/Southwest DC.
This opportunity takes place on the second or third Thursday of each month, usually between 10 am and 1 pm. There is also time for sorting diapers after delivery.
This is perfect for volunteers with a flexible daytime schedule who have a valid driver's license and car, minivan, SUV, etc.
Volunteers should also have the physical ability to pick up and move boxes or trash bags full of diaper packs.
