Idara-e-Jaferia Inc

IDARA-E-JAFERIA in Maryland-USA is a non-profit, independent organization that culminated from years of dedication from a group of fellow Muslims who started working on the idea in 1990. It was established as a Community service for residents of Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and nearby other local communities.

a) To Pursue religious, educational and cultural activities of the Jafri school of thought. b) To serve as center for Jafri Muslims for their religious and social needs. c) To assist in conducting any religious and social ceremonies such as marriage and funeral arrangements. d) To perform charitable work for the needy families of the Jafri community in the United States of America. Additionally to serve broad based community in Maryland Idara-e-Jaferia does Winter Coat drive and also takes up providing food to to the homeless shelters.  In Addition, Idara e Jaferia houses the Jaferia Islamic school in which the high school students can volunteer their time for SSL hours by participating in interfaith events, helping out in classrooms by taking attendance, supporting students who need extra help, leading student activities, preparing bulletin boards, cleaning up and organizing teacher desk and classroom and helping manage the flow of students.
