Who We Are
We are a Presbyterian congregation in Rockville, MD. We are striving to be a place where Spirit and Service come together. As a church, we are a place of worship and formation around the practices and teachings of Jesus. As such, we are called to be engaged in service with our community here at home and around the world, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, lifting up the broken-hearted, visiting the lonely, healing the sick. We hope to give opportunities to all those who want to serve Jesus Christ in their community.
Even during COVID we have continued to serve our community by making meals for local homeless shelters, providing supplies for people experiencing homeless, doing food drives for Manna food and making masks to be delivered to those in need.
What We Do
Students at Saint Mark participate in a variety of service learning opportunities. We make meals for local homeless shelters, volunteer in clothing centers, pack hygiene kits and meals to be distributed through local and global non profits. We also take summer trips to serve in various parts of the country including but not limited to: West Virginia, Baltimore, Washington DC, and Philadelphia. We work with local organizations like Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless, Interfaith Works, A Wider Circle, and So Others Might Eat.
