OUR MISSION

To inspire, build, and sustain vibrant Jewish life in a changing world by mobilizing our community in common purpose, intentional innovation, and effective action.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington aims to make a positive impact on the lives of thousands of local families in need. This new social action initiative is a way for volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and interests to pursue a shared passion for tikkun olam (repairing the world). With service projects throughout the community, all year long, together we can inspire social change by feeding the hungry, caring for the earth, supporting Holocaust survivors in need and so much more.
