Who We Are
CSS is committed to the provision of quality community based services to children and adults with developmental disabilities including autism. Services provided include, but are not limited to life skill instruction, functional academic skill development, job development, job coaching, transportation, money management, recreational skill development, instruction and supervision in the home, instruction in social and communication skills, and behavior management. These services are designed jointly by the individual, the individual's family, others who know the individual well, and consultants with expertise.
What We Do
Student volunteers help further the mission of CSS by supporting quality community based services. While there might be a range of activities throughout the year, most volunteer opportunities which arise will be in support of events.
Special events give family and friends the opportunity to come together across the community and enjoy an experience that often is not available. By participating in these events student volunteers add to the enrichment of the experience for those with disabilities.
Additional opportunities include, but are not limited to: assisting with art classes, helping with a sports season such as basketball and soccer, volunteering with an after school camp program, as well as occasional administrative office tasks.
