Northwest Community Church has served the community for 20 years under the leadership of Pastor Dan Turner.
What We Do
Our organization serves our local Northwest DC community through widespread efforts including volunteer opportunities. Within the church, volunteers serve as nursery leaders, kids and youth teachers; online team members who connect with members and visitors via our digital platforms; lobby greeters and coffee bar attendants; small group and book club hosts; and audio and visual techs for Sunday services. Outwardly, NWCC serves our community via partnerships with Powell Elementary school providing school supplies and winter clothing, hosting our annual Waterpalooza family water play day for our neighbors and friends, and collaborating with local organizations including DC127 for their Kids Day Out events and YoungLives.
