Destination Accessible US, Inc.

Destination Accessible US, Inc. is a 501c3 whose mission is to enrich the lives of individuals with mobility challenges. We provide first-hand, accessibility information of restaurants, theaters, parks, museums, kid-friendly and other popular venues, so that people can "know before they go," what they will find when they get to the venue, including DC. This enables them to make informed choices and lessen the chance of finding out that a venue is not accessible enough for them.

Volunteers visit restaurants, theaters, parks, museums, kid-friendly and other popular venues and review them for their level of accessibility for people with mobility limitations, The information gathered is posted on our website, www.destinationaccessible.org. Volunteers use a checklist, write a review and take photos.
