Stillborn And Infant Loss Support (SAILS)

Stillborn and Infant Loss Support (SAILS) was founded by Sadija A. Smiley in honor of her daughter Ivyanna, who was stillborn at 36 weeks pregnant. SAILS compassionately guides families through pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or infant death before the first birthday. We do this through comprehensive support services, burial/cremation financial assistance, and a bereavement curriculum that honors a child's meaningful life and facilitates the beginnings of emotional and physical healing.

Volunteers assist through board service, community events, member outreach, administrative support and member engagement.
