St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Fairland

Who We Are

St. Mark’s Fairland is a diverse, multi-cultural and multi-generational  faith community that serves all in need, regardless of their religious affiliation. Our mission is to love God, love our neighbors, and serve Christ in all persons.

What We Do

Outreach is a key component of St. Mark’s ministries.  We have an on-site food pantry and also hold a free community food distribution on the first Wednesday of each month.  During the cold months, we host "Super Soup Saturdays" in our parish hall and provide free bowls of soup and warm bread to anybody who comes in.  We make and provide bag lunches for clients at a nearby shelter, and regularly collect canned food and dry goods for a local area food bank. We also provide gifts and clothing for families in need and to seniors in the community. Our major annual parish-wide outreach project is a backpack and school supplies drive to provide students in need at an area Title I elementary school with new supplies to start off their school year with the basics for success. The caring and generous people of St. Mark’s are its first and best strength, and we can always use volunteer support.
