Women of Global Change Foundation DMV

WGC Foundation History The Women of Global Change is a not-for-profit social impact organization whose impact is felt across the continents. WGC has served over 50,000 families through a growing network of members and partner organizations. WGC participates in educational initiatives, networking, and national and international projects of betterment for women, children, and all humanity. WGC has been honored by the United States Senate and has received four White House awards.

DMV Chapter Mission We support and create initiatives that support women and children in the Washington, DC area who are unhoused and facing income insecurity. We and our community partners strive to understand and address daily practical needs of community members, as well as broader more complex issues requiring systemic and policy solutions. Our Youth Community has a particular focus on mental health and wellness for girls.
