Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad, Inc.

Since 1955 WVRS has responded to 911 emergencies. We are an all volunteer organization of EMTs, paramedics, and firefighters.

Our mission is to protect the public’s health and safety in partnership with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service. We are a volunteer, not-for-profit corporation that provides emergency services to any person in need.

We occasionally ask student volunteers to help us with some of our fundraising events. One example is helping us unload our Christmas tree truck that arrives in late November. Another example is help with building and grounds, maintaining our garden areas.
